Who is Margaret Beaufort?

Working with a long term client at Pembroke is always a blast. Pembroke Castle oozes history, and we’ve been asked to research into and tell the incredible life story of Margaret Beaufort, the mother of Henry VII.

Margaret was only 13 years old when she gave birth to Henry within the castle walls, and her life was a continuous challenge from that day onwards. Henry eventually became King by defeating Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth with Margaret’s finger prints all over the plan leading up to this historic day.  She engineered the end to the War of the Roses.

Our plan is to make an immersive multi sensory experience that takes place over 4 rooms and 2 towers and through tunnels within the castle walls…
